New Perspectives on Art by johnriley
A cracking image to get the party started, great use of structure, architectural detail to give depth and symmetry.
The image succeeds in making me want to visit. Oh! love the colour palette too.
Sponish Suspension Bridge by Lubbyman
Another good use of perspective to take us into the landscape, inspecting the bridge as the eye goes. Make one wonder how much longer the bridge will last. I like the contrast between the main structure and the quite wild looking landscape.
Receding glass, concrete and steel by davidwozhere
What there is really draws the eye in trying to work out exactly what I'm looking at. I expect a fighter spacecraft from Star Wars to come hurtling towards me any moment on its way to destroy the core of the Death Star. The unusual nature of the image really catches my eye.
Still standing by gibis
The lovely gnarly remnants of the dead tree used to take ones eyes up to the heavens above. It might be standing there doing nothing but, it gave you your photograph!
The McLaren by Simonmac
The perspective, the structure and the composition all come together to make this my winning photograph. Oh, I also like the post processing.
Trees by Itsmix
Great use of the wide angle, this image not only gives us an interesting perspective it also gives us the opportunity to marvel at the wonderful structure and form of trees.
Should I cross the street here? by Noelcmn
Only when you've taken the camera away from your eye! I bet that road is straight.
I do like the distorted perspective of a fisheye. The road used here to take my eye up the street past the buildings to the brow of the hill. It looks very clean and very deserted. I must get my fisheye out for an outing.
Now to the podium.
