Oops, that is unexpected, I was thinking Simonmac "incoming" would bag this one. Thank you for the win and the judging/C&C's. To answer your question dewsburya, this was taken in Johannesburg, en route home one afternoon, looking north east. Such clouds are a regular feature of our Spring/Summer months, where the thunderstorms can be quite dramatic. I'll have a new challenge up shortly.

Lazy Summer, Good low viewpoint ,Hut Roof leads eye to the into the subject
Pre Storm , so so dramatic , layers of colour just make this an excellent image
Cloud , on first look i thought it was Sea Spray from wave break, , nice low tones and depth of layers is good
Incoming , I feel the very low horizon , certainly does emphasise that is storm on its way , i like the tones in the ground subject repeated in the cloud /sky
Drama on the Golf Course , i asked for clouds there certainly is an abundance of cloud variety here a weather watchers dream, nice overall exposure too
Wild Sunset another dramatic image as Pre Storm , i feel the diagonal divide of Light and Dark Tones make the image pleasing
Cotton Wool The Fine Whip Cloud is dancing across the sky , nice exposure and you can almost feel the movement
Not Rainy Clouds Again the low viewpoint and tonal repetition in on land and sky impresses me
With only 8 entries very difficult choice , i like them all , there can only be one Winner and that is Pre Storm Clouds , well done Noelcmn, this week there are no 2 /3 place they are all in my choice worthy of 2nd Place
Thanks
