Weekly #861 - Inside the Box Competition
Title | Weekly #861 - Inside the Box |

Judge | drofmit | Closing Date | 24/03/2024 |
Description | Totally reversing John's topic of last week.... please go inside the box.... now, boxes are all different shapes sizes and geometry.... then there are specific boxes eg; jewellery boxes.... also things like the television are nicknamed "the box".... and, in Leeds, there is a building called "The Box".... so there's plenty of subject material to get inside off and take pictures!! I want to see the "box" and the inside in the picture... not just the contents.... So, get hunting.... it is a weekly, so you can trawl the archives... or take a picture specifically for the competition.... so long as it is with a Pentax camera or a Ricoh equivalent... happy snapping! |

I have just entered and quite often late submissions come in between now and midnight

Absolutely, my entry and no doubt others will be on their way before the day is out. So why don't we wait and see where we are at midnight tonight? It's not over yet!
Best regards, John

Winner chosen... congratulations John... thinking "outside the box" for that approach!
Second on the podium... Sound Box by Rick... would have liked to see more label.
Third place goes to Sue for that wonderful opportunist shot!!
That's it... sorry, no notes this time, which will be my last for a good few months!

It's always a worry when the end approaches and there is nothing there (I couldn't think of anything I had that might fit). It produced some nice work in the end that really did 'invert' the more usual 'outside the box' theme.
