Hi, On Saturday we were asked to take some photos at a ladies rugby match, we had great fun so this weeks task, if you accept it, is "Sport" - funny or straight forward action. Let the game begin and will catch up on Sunday. Good Luck. |

davidtrout A good clean panning shot, you can really feel the speed that he is travelling. Background has no distractions, nice muted colours and sharp.
garethjmorgan A lovely sharp photo, the red, yellow and blue really stand out. The kayak and rider are nicely placed in the frame, with both ends of the paddle in shot. Lots of water detail.
Nigelk A great shot. Background nicely blurred giving us that speed feel, with the motion of the wheels adding to it. Could the light blue line at the bottom of the photo been cloned out or cropped, giving us the brown at the bottom of the photo.
Francisbd What a colourful photo, and a great angle you took it at, it really gives you the thrill of the marathon start. Love the expression on the motorcyclist face on the left (the F.F.A Official).
Flan And theyre off. A good black and white photo, with everyone quick off the mark. Background nicely out of focus and not distracting. Looking at the photo it surprised me how many are setting their watches, I guess to monitor their performance and the route they run. A good photo.
Retsoor - This is my kind of fishing. Good black tones in this photo, nice and sharp, very restful.
Noelcmn Good colour tones in the grass and the red and blue on the person really stand out. Not sure what the green is on the right side of the photo, but just a little distracting. Also for me a little more space for him to move into would have been nice.
So the results are
!st Nigelk
2nd Johnriley
3rd davidtrout
Thank you all for entering, really enjoyed looking at them. Over to you Nigelk!
