Hello

I am very sorry for the delay...

Thank you so much for entering.

sueriley- Red Boat Reflection
A nice reflection. I feel that the image is a little flat, and I loathe removing things, but the buoys are distracting. But, the calm is contagious.

Francisbd- Les pieds dans l' eau - The feet in water
Striking. The sole black and white entry. B&W offers a lot in some reflections when tone and shapes are the dominant part of the image. Like it a lot.

garethjmorgan- Keep on Trucking
Good image and very different. My only issue, and this is just me, my eyes dart between the two reflections and cannot settle.

PRYorkshire- Loch Linnhe at Sunset
Lovely area by the look of it, and I like the format used. Again, and it is just me, I am missing a little more clarity, my eye drops off when scanning from the right.

jofford- Heron Reflecting
They certainly are. Super reflection here of a lovely bird. I'm being fussy, you should all be winners.

johnriley- Whittington Castle
Another place for me to investigate. The lighting hasn't helped here, a little harsh. I would have loved a mono or pseudo infra red conversion.

drofmit- World Disco
Great art work. As you say, difficult to capture. The triptych to my eyes is a little muddled. I wonder if a longer exposure on one frame would have worked?

Noelcmn- Reflections of a Swimming pool
Different again. Kudos. The image in that sphere is lovely, my only comment would be that the background colours pull you to and fro.

retsoor- Reflections in Abereron
There you go, Format great again. Simple, colour works, I want to be there. And the vibrancy and saturation have been well managed.

Nigelk- Cambridge Twilight
What a place.. Where is this? As with all the photos here, a lovely reflection, I just think that there is too much foreground and foliage framing the scene.

2nd

3rd

And kudos to all that entered. Thank you again.

All the best

Looks my image wasn't considered. Disappointing as I do look forward to the critique.

Congratulations to the Winner and other places.

I am very sorry, this was a genuine oversight. I did not intend to cause upset. I am only human.

Congratulations to the Winner and other places.

For the recod, and many aopologies again:

tyronet2000- Newbiggin Sunrise
A lovely sunrise and a fine boat. The hull is a lirtle dark but this could not be helped. It dies retain detail ans something would have been lost if it had gone to silhoutte.

I would ask that, if I have made an error, you message me. Not a fan of public embarrasment.

Congrats Retsoor, had that one down as a contender. Postcard worthy image for holidays! And extended to francisbd and jofford. Thanks Simonmac for the challenge and the judging exercise, as always much appreciated. Usual good stuff in this comp!

I love this site. I won't be entering any competitions from now on. I am not in a good place if I am lucky enough to win.
