Many thanks for the 2nd place and congratulations to a worthy winner Simon. I liked drofmit's entry of the laser cut 2CV, the back seat driver outline made me smile and reminded me of the times I broke down with the mother in law in the back seat.

Tyronet- very nice silhouette with a shadow, the person “popping out,” is positioned well in the lightest part of the photo. This fits the brief well.
Nigelk- very unusual photo, the shape of the persons head is quite odd but the rays of light from the glasses adds a nice element to the photo.
DaveL77- What a lovely serene scene, the sky is dreamy and relaxing and the silhouettes of the people are placed in just the right spot for us to enjoy the light on the water.
Pipinmels- This is my kind of selfie. A nice family shadow photo, nice pattern detail in the sand/shale and through the water. The family are in the centre of the photo and for me they are placed well in the frame.
Simonmac- Lovely diagonal shadow pattern photo, everyone busy going somewhere and their shadows stretching out behind or in front of them. Love the two people front and centre, for me they make the picture.
PRYorkshire- Lovely silhouettes of the teasels looking up against the sky, with their giant leaves following not far behind with a hint of colour, a great shot.
Garethjmorgan- How many of us have wanted to shout out this. Love the yellow background and even though its a silhouette we can still see some detail in the lady.
Drofmit- Great shot and title. This also fits the brief well, I remember well my dad tinkering under the bonnet of our car, usually when we were late for a family gathering.
Noelcmn- Nice silhouette of the girl and the canoe, it looks like she is about to travel through the starbursts on the left of the photo. A small shadow as you say but a lovely silhouette.
1st is Simonmac
2nd is PRYorkshire
3rd is drofmit
