Manhattan. Been there done that. Really good shot. Good DOF Shows how crowded the buildings are.
Ely. Abbey founded 673AD. Became a city by royal charter 1974. Nice bit of history. Not quite to the brief.
Gloucester Quays. Nice view from the river Severn. Shows pleasure and commerce. Once again good DOF.
Winter light. More of a street scene than a cityscape. Just round the corner from the Bigg Market with Greys monument at the other end. He invented EARL GREY TEA.
Birmingham. That I like the sky enhances the city skyline but maybe just a little to much sky.
From Castle Hill. Obviously in Scotland beautiful castle but not exactly a cityscape.
God versus the shopping mall. Old city buildings (Churches) and modern. Juxtaposition. Ilike it.
Manchester. Nice photo and would have come very high in my Interiors week 707 but sadly not a cityscape.
The old the new and the funky. Just as the title says. Well spotted but dominated by. Gucci.
Hong Kong before the storm. Just like Manhattan Been there done that.Nice night scene with just enough light left in the sky. Just what I asked for.
Night on the Tyne. I said Morning Noon or Night. B&W or colour Big and Bold. Fantastic.
Reflections of a city. Nice photo but for me just a little to much foreground.
Treaty City. Treaty City brewery Limerick. I remember it well. Once again I like the photo but not exactly to the brief. Just across the bridge J J Bowles pub.
1st. Night on the Tyne.
2nd. Manhattan.
Joint 3rd. Old city buildings. and Hong Kong before the storm.
Every one else well done. Sorry I can't please all the people all the time.
