Hi John
What I have done in the past is to type the comments in Word and then paste that document into a comment. FYI, I'm in Bidford-on-Avon, just down the road.

I use the copy and paste method as well, it works fine. Stops any timeouts.

Potato Field by Nigelk -Splendid interpretation of Competition Title with good composition and lighting. Great Clarity on the foreground.
In the Pool by Perspicador. – An interesting and exciting photo with great lighting at the bottom of the fall, forming patterns in the water.
Landscape Patterns by David Trout. – Impressive winter scene with contrasting colours and snow capped hill forming patterns. Interesting line down top centre.
Circle of death by John Riley – This is a stunning ready made scene to photograph.
It’s Raining Smarties by tyronent200 – It is more than “Just a bit of fun”. It is very clever and would be interesting in how it was achieved!
Stack of Chairs by Steve F – Another clever pattern photo. Without being told it would be difficult to identify as stacked chairs. Well seen and taken.
Polished Aluminium Jaguar XJ8 by Steveo50 - Good Imaginative shot and choice for this competition. Interesting depth to the folds in the pattern. Thanks for the details of what it is too.
Field Pattern by JAK – A pleasant scene with good composition but lighting could have been more favourable for you.
Fabric Patterns by Noelcam – A pattern picture indeed with a dazzling array and impact. Rather too much of a good thing perhaps.
Dew Drops on a spider web by retsoor – Amazing shot with so many dew drops. It would have been interesting to actually see some of the web supporting such a heavy weight.

Congratulations to Steve0 50, John Riley and Nigelk and many thanks to Johnwjr for the subject and judging. Glad you were able to add comments on all the entries.

When judging I also use the copy and paste method of adding comments. To avoid a last minute panic as Midnight Sunday approaches I compose comments on entries as soon as they start coming in during the week leaving the final choice until the very end.

I've often wondered why some people enter and never think to check to see how they got on.

I have now added a new weekly competition, but changed the end date so that you have a week and a bit to enter.

Hope you have fun with it and enter so many pcitures that I'll be up half the night writing the judging!
