Nothing complicated, just photos taken after dark with whatever ambient light was available ie. streetlights, moonlight etc, but no flash!
Usual rules as I understand them: photos can be new or from your archive, but must have been taken with Ricoh/Pentax cameras.
Closing date for entries is midnight Sunday 28/07/2019.

Thanks to all entrants this week - interesting to see such a variety of subjects in just nine photos. Random, subjective, but, I hope, coherent thoughts as follows:

Last Rays .... Right up my street! Gorgeous soft light on the building and a really attractive sky.

Moon over the cage .... Very eye-catching composition. Would have liked a bit more visible detail in the cage itself. Pity about the moon halo, too.

King Edward Hotel .... Striking clarity and an interesting building, but I find my eye being drawn all the time to the right-hand edge trying to figure out what the blue/yellow things are. A lot of empty foreground too.

Fancy .... Like this one - clarity, exposure, DoF all look good. Better, perhaps, to crop out the tarmac up to where the kerb goes out of frame on the right?

Incredible Hulk.. .... Lots of colour, a nice starburst and good exposure. Maybe just lacking a focal point to draw the eye into the picture?

Looking Out ... I assume this was delayed shutter release, otherwise who took it? Very effective and, yes, I agree, the humans are essential to the shot. Personally,I would crop top and bottom to a little bit more than the height of the street lamp. I think that brings the background more into play (though, of course, you may not have wanted that!) But I like this a lot.

Milky Way ... A very attractive photograph. Lots of detail and a hint of colour in the sky. A little bit of foreground interest, too. I don't have a problem with noise here unless you start zooming in looking for it. I like this one very much.

Lighting up time ... Reflective, moody, miles away ....what is she thinking? Soft focus and light, very good!

Village in the mist .... I like photos with fog/mist etc and the elevated viewpoint here is ideal for the purpose. Maybe a bit too distant, though - more visible detail in the dark areas would give the image more appeal for me.

Having reached this point, I still don't know which to pick as the winner! OK, go for it!

Winner: Lighting up time

Joint second place, a whisker behind: Last Rays ..., Looking Out and Milky Way

Perspicador, over to you!

Congrats Perspicador-What wonderful mood and light you got there. Agree-well deserved winner. And congrats extended to Johnriley, NigelK and newbiek50user. Thanks to our judge for a lovely challenge, and the C&C exercise. Beautiful images here!

As for the blue/yellow things-trash bin and a bag of trash-adding some juxtaposition to the image.
