| Description | |
What I am looking for is a Movie Title and an Image showing what could be an advert for this by showing a scene from said movie. It is not to be a scene from an actual movie which could cause problems. although the title can be. Ususal Rules apply regarding equipment used, it must be Pentax or Pentax clone. Good Luck. |

What a fun and inspiring competition.
Well done to the podiums and HCs.
And thank you again Stan for the setting and judging.
I'll be setting the new competition later as I will soon be travelling back from a wet and windy Aberystwyth!
All the best.

Swan Lake by Perspicador
The first entry certainly is on target. The "Stars" of the film in white accompanied by the "Supporting cast" in brown.
Destination Moon by stephen-s
That was the first "sci-fi" film I ever saw. Was taken to see that by my parents when I was 7 years old. The picture of the moon and title certainly fit the brief.
The Postman Always Rings Twice by steadfast
Two versions of this film, in 1946 and 1981 the version I saw. This image could also fit other films of the genre.
The Land Girls by JAK
Two flags and I think a tractor with a male name and covered by a tarpaulin doesn't really fit the title for me. Perhaps if I saw the film I would make the connection.
Nightcrawlers by go4it.
Another image I can't really fit to the title, what are we looking at? An almost deserted street showing a fast moving something which cancels out the "crawling in the title..
The Eagle Has Landed by ken2390
Liked the thinking here and there is a connection between title and image but not sure if the bird has just landed or is getting ready for take off.
The Great Gatsby by davidtrout
A romantic drama adapted from the book by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Set in the mid 1920's this character could have stepped from the screen of this movie. Without the title though it could have been a young gangster from the same era.
Night of the Living Dead by Mag07
Plenty of Zombies in this scene. I must admit I had to smile when I noticed the guy in the spectacles in the middle of the image, not having seen this film I looked it up and there is such a character. Hero or villain it doesn't matter. The image matches the title.
Dawn of the Dead by i-Berg
Another film of the horror genre. The make up on these model is certainly grotesque and the image fits the title. Still can't help wondering what she looks like sans make up.
The Butterfly effect by chrishorsnell
A film I've not seen but have heard of the Butterfly Effect, the butterfly flaps its wings and this action causes an effect, usually not a good one, somewhere else in the world. Image does somewhat fit the title.
The Lego Movie by GlynM
Good image which fits the Title. Colourful on target for the brief.
The Birds by Abe_Normal
On topic but might have been more so with a few more birds in the image.
A Man Called Horse by paulb531
Another image which fits the title. The costume reminds me of Bernie Clifton.
Dogs of War by Noelcmn
The characters depicted look more like those from Resevoir Dogs neverthe less a good image well taken
The Long Shadow by pipinmels
Another film I've not seen so looked it up. You have certainly caught the long shadow of the characters so filling the brief.
The Three Amigos by NigelK
I enjoyed the original film and your triplet of characters fulfills the brief.
The Day the Earth Stood Still by Simonmac.
This certainly fits the brief. Like the partial statue which to me looks more menacing than seeing the whole thing, as on Crosby Sands.
Star Wars by timcx500e
No hints needed for the film this character represents. I think the adults secretly enjoy these more than the childen.
Winner : The Day the Earth Stood Still by Simonmac
Joint Second : Lego the Movie by GlynM. Star Wars by timce500e
Joint Third: Night of the Living Dead by Mag07 Swan Lake by perspicador, A Man Called Horse by paulb531
Over to you Simonmac
