Thank you everyone for their entries this week, I am on my way North on a train for a couple of days with work so full judging to follow when I get back home.
Some superb shots, but there can only be one winner:

Thank you everyone for their entries, and sorry for the delay but a couple of days in the North East with work got in the way of feedback.

I hope no one will be offended by my comments, but judging this had made me realise I have developed some form of framing squarely OCD thing!

Builders by kh1234567890
I like this shot, the subject intrigues me, and I want to know more about it. I wonder if a crop to remove the door and distractions to the left plus a mono conversion would bring the window and wall texture to life?

scaffold and fire escapes by davidwozhere
There is some real interest in the building outside with its facade and iron work. I have to admit I found the darkness of the window frame from where the shot was taken a distraction in the centre of the shot, and whilst not immune to the indoor frame as a surround I would have preferred to see more of the building opposite.

Let there be light by davidtrout
An excellent shot, it has it all, the conversion and framing as great. The only minor thing for me would be to perhaps straighten the right hand side of the right hand window?

St. Anthony's Chapel, Arthur's Seat by Perspicador
I like the subject; it lends itself well to the topic and to being photographed. I do like the head behind the rock on the left. The shot seems at an odd angle and could maybe do with a crop and straighten; and the colours seem a tad unusual to me, not sure if it is my monitor or not?

Spinning Jenny by JAK
There is nothing that I don’t like about this shot, it is great! Very nearly a podium placer and had me pondering.

Abbey windows by michaelblue
Another shot that is great; it has a lot going for it and for me would have been pushing for as podium slot if it the building was squarer. I know we all edit differently, and there is nothing wrong with the shot, just a taste thing on my part.

The Cube at Corby. All windows. Only one open. By Vic Cross
Again another great shot where there is nothing really that I don’t like about it, perhaps maybe clone the tree bits out in the bottom left corner and mid-right of frame? Nearly a podium placer.

Through the square window by pipinmels
Once again another great shot; it had me thinking and was pushing hard for a podium place. Nothing about it that doesn’t really, really appeals to me!

Outside Looking in by paulb531
A really great shot, it not only tells a story, but captures a moment in time too, just as street photography should in my mind. The mono conversion works really well.

Wine by Simonmac
What is not to love about this, just spot on all round, subject, crop the lot!

McCaig's Tower by snakey
Nicely framed subject, I like the way the arches are mirrored on the grass bank and the curve to the edge of the frame. I had to Google it to see why it is called a tower when it looks like a viaduct or aqueduct. I wonder if the shot would be punchier as black and white conversion, and that way the blown out sky may not seem as evident and the brickwork texture would stand out.

Window to La Cebadilla Abandoned Church by MarqueeMoon
Great take on the theme, a really interesting looking building that I would love to explore. I can’t work out if I like the exposed brick work at the front of the shot or not, I keep coming back to it and wondering. Aside from that, maybe a slight straighten but a good shot.

Windows at Witley Court by johnriley
Lots of windows, lots of texture, light and shadows too; an interesting subject worth a visit. The only thing for me is the angles, not suggesting they are wrong, maybe I am developing some form of photography OCD about things being on a slant.

Windows with sea legs by ken2390
The most obscure take on the theme, but it works for me. I bet that is worth a pretty penny or two. The shot appears a bit flat on my monitor, it does look like it was taken on a grey day but maybe it could do with a bit of post production to lift it.

Benaiah, Abishai & Jashobeam by GlynM
I had half expected more of this type of entry of some superb stained glass windows. The light really does show the colours well. I find the foreground a bit distracting however, and would have preferred more focus on the wonderful windows.

Peeping by Carol8345
This is great, the subject, the colours, the framing, the only thing for me is that angles thing again. If the window had not been on the slant it is this would have been pushing for a podium place for sure.

Church window onto the neighbors yard by Noelcmn
A really interesting shot, looks like a piece of art, and I really like it. The only thing I would change would be to crop the right hand side to mirror the framing of the left.

Boulangerie Fantasy by drofmit
A shop full of bread goodies, I want to go in! I like this one, an interesting entry and again a take on the theme that I had maybe expected to see more of. It seems slightly out of focus on the left, and slightly at a skew, but they are minor things as the shot works

Thank you again for taking the time to enter, and hope you all have a wonderful festive period and a Pentax full New Year!
Andrew

Thanks for the comments Andrew, Much appreciated. The extreme angle of the window frame in my shot was down to the wide angle lens. It would have been difficult to straighten.
Fancy being banished to the North East for a few days, If it was my part of the North east I hope you found some time to go to the Gateshead/Newcastle Quayside area.
If it was the Teesside part - well condolences.
David.
