(1) Well done Andrew. If that is some kind of indoor firework then you really are "CRACKERS"
I love the look on your face.

(2) You did say crackers. This one appeals to my sense of humour. I think you've made a right A**E of it. Well spotted.

(3) Christmas is coming. Definitely "CRACKERS". It's colourful and it fills the brief.

HC Cracker Bread. This one would have been higher up the list if it had a little more colour. ( A bit of BLUE cheese would have just lifted it that bit extra). I like it.

4 Crackers. It certainly fills the brief but it is just a little plain. It does nothing for me.

Just Cream Crackered. Repeat of comment for 4 crackers.

The Great Escape. "CRACKERS"?????????????????. I suppose it is a little crackers if you think "out of the box"

Nuts about bird feed. I don't see the connection with "CRACKERS" unless the word NUTS is used instead of "CRACKERS". It doesn't work for me.

I hope I haven't been to harsh but it is my first time at judging. I'll have to go back to being 2nd/3rd or HC.

Thanks all for entering. I thought there would be a lot more entries but hey ho the brief must have been too tough.
CHEERS Vic.

Well first one over Vic, plain sailing from now! Thanks for the third place and well done to AndrewA and Ken2390.
Shame entries were lacking this time, perhaps its the time of year as even the forum has been quiet over last week.

Yes, I also thought an interesting competition, getting us out of our comfort zones. Love that winning shot-great timing to get that facial expression and well controlled PP. Congrats are in order to the podium places-AndrewA, Ken2390 and JAK. Thanks for the HC- thing is- I had to make do with what was in the fridge . And thanks for the judging and critiquing exercise. Always appreciated.

Vic Cross, returning to your brief, you can see why I posted what I have posted! I would appreciate it if you could restrain yourself from selecting abusive terminology to use in this context. thank you.

Rodney. I don't want to get into any arguments with anyone on here but no I can't see why you posted what you posted.

Also what abusive terminology do you think I used? Apart from a**e in "you did say crackers"

As to the poetic quote. Then if that is aimed at me I don't know what you're getting at??

Others seemed to enjoy the brief. I thought it would be a bit of fun and I did my best at judging.

John Riley. Intervene if you think you need to.

I think it's clear that this was a light hearted competition, and the judging was also light hearted, "tongue-in-cheek" or however else we might describe it, using various humorous comments and plays on words. I would call is mischievously playful.

Obviously it's regrettable if anyone takes offence at anything, but I am sure that no offence was intended.
Best regards, John

As I was the culprit that entered the trees bottom, I can say that I took no offence at the wording used in its judgement. After all it was under the heading (humorous & fun) Regards Ken

Thanks to John and Ken. I didn't think I'd done or said anything wrong. I thought "CRACKERS" was just a bit of fun. I don't know what Rodney is so upset about????

Thank you for the win!

What went boom was the flash from a Pentax Q...

Well done everyone and thanks to Vic for a great theme.
