Hi Everyone, Remembering the sad demise of Marc Bolan in Sept '77. For this month, anything related to music; be it performance, instrument, or even something evoking a song title—anything. Usual rules apply: Pentax camera or acceptable clone, and taken this month. (Ride a white Swan was released on my third birthday!) |

Timeless:
An interesting take on the subject, and very true. I like the simple set piece with the self-framing clock drawing the eye to the centre. The subtle colours also add more than the eye initially appreciates.
It’s a Hit:
A great use of dynamics to capture the movement. Difficult to achieve as well, I imagine. I like the way the image demands scrutiny, simply by the fact that one’s first perception is that it isn’t quite right.
We are ready:
If anyone tells you that you have too many guitars, get rid of them. You don’t need that kind of negativity in your life. Nice and simple, epitomising my many wandering around music shops. The poor violins could do with some bridge attention though.
Work in Progress…
Great use of distortion to encompass the whole keyboard whilst emphasising the written work in the centre. The incorporation of homely detail grounds it into reality well too.
Winner: It’s a Hit
Everyone else joint 2nd
Thanks again😊
