Monthly #156 - Standing Alone Competition

Jrutle – What a cute duckling and a lovely bright colourful outfit. Love the expression, a mix between great your here and a little bit nervous.

SSF1957 – Love the stormy sky of this photo and the way it’s caught the cobweb under the sign. Nice and sharp too.

Kasperbergholt - A good stand alone. I like that the background is soft focus, but for me it is a bit too bright and the shadow of the book a little to eye catching. The book is lovely and sharp showing the detail nicely.

Johnriley – very clever, nice background, lovely and sharp, good colours, good use of DOF. Great.

Gibis – nice idea, the red peg stands out well against the desaturated background. The large pink peg in the foreground is a little eye catching, but good DOF, very imaginative.

Noelcmn – Nice simple image, One Leaf. The background is a bit distracting but it is in situ and very natural. Again good use of DOF.

Simonmac – A colourful gent, what a suit and shoes. Nice and sharp, good colour, nicely positioned in the frame and the lady opposite a nice foil.

Lubbyman – These things get everywhere, well spotted. Nice colour on the plant contrasting well against the wall. Taken at a nice angle.
