Thank you for the competition and my win Stephen. Congratulations to my fellow podium places.
I was getting concerned that I wouldn't get a shot for the comp when, out for a walk, this shot landed in my lap , so to speak.
Now I've just got to wait for my notification message with the link to set this months comp.
Best

My second placed image was "Hunslet Locomotive" by John Riley . This one ticked quite a few boxes for me as a volunteer on a heritage railway. I love the monochrome which had a great tonal range and the composition was good, leading you further into the image.
Third place goes to the VW Beetle by Pushkar. Few cars are more iconic than the VW Beetle. The rain drops on the paintwork gave this a lift. I did find myself intrigued by what appears to be a roll cage fitted inside a very standard looking car.
The "Hong Kong Tram" by Rbuckell is a well seen image, well exposed with the Tram well placed in the frame. I liked the smile painted on the tram and was quite drawn to the almost bored look of the commuters
"SW" by Noelcmn Nice image of the aircraft which is sharp and again well placed in the frame. For me it suffers a little from the almost solid white of the cloud in the bottom right of the frame - but you can only shoot what was there!
Thank you to all who submitted images, as a first time judge this was a little daunting!
