Monthly #139 - Introspection Competition

Title Monthly #139 - Introspection
Judge Flan
Closing Date 31/01/2024
Description
January can be a bleak time of year, one tends to be quieter, reflecting in a year gone by.
Looking for photographs that convey that introspective feeling. Isolation, stillness, quietness, gathering ones thoughts and perspective.
Any genre Colour or B@W.
I know southern hemisphere will view January differently and the contrast will be interesting, if some take up the challenge.
Hope to see some peoples take on the theme.
Best of luck, Flan

Please remember monthly competition entries should be made in the month of the competition, so this one is for images shot in January 2024. Thanks!
Best regards, John

Thank you for the win, a last day of the challenge attempt, and something I tried a few months ago. I'll have a new challenge up shortly

That fit the brief perfectly Noel. Well done.
As to wiping the comments - I really sympathise. It seems we have all done it but that doesn't help our feelings when it happens.
