Gary Hickin took his K10D with a Pentax SMC 50mm f/1.7 lens into his front garden to take some photos of morning frost on moss, that grows on his sundial. As he set up, the frost turned to dewdrops and he was able to capture this unusual photo. Gary attached three macro extension rings and the camera was set at a ISO100 and f/8. A remote control was also used.
We say: “We like the way Gary has got in close to the droplets and captured the reflections of the outside world in them.”
