Taken on a Pentax *Ist DS of one of St Helena's beauty spots. This is a very picturesque 47 sq mile (122sq km) island or rock in the middle of the S.Atlantic, situated on latitude 16S of the Equator and longitude 5 45 west of Greenwich. The highest point is Diana's Peak, close to where the photo was taken, at 2685ft or 818m. Peter is situated 1200 miles (1950km from the SW coast of Africa and 1800 miles (2,900km) from Brazil. Capetown is 1750 miles south.
