The Clock Tower

Built in 1880, the clock tower is found on the old Grave Digger's House at the edge of Tyldesley Cemetery. Currently it does not function as the current owner has declined to pay the connection fee (for all four clocks on that little tower, one each face). I understand they were upgrade at some point to radio control from the Greenwich signal. Maybe a folly, maybe an affectation, but an odd thing to find on a Gravedigger's House.
