Sphingomorpha chlorea or Sundowner Moth

by Noelcmn

In the home early one morning. From Wikipedia "It is a fruit-piercing moth and a notorious pest in orchards. The fruit is pierced while performing a vertical and rhythmic movement of the head". Such a beautiful creature! One of the more colorful critters that enter the home from time to time, along with birds.
