This is the developed RAW image of a shot taken with the DAL 18-55 kit lens in bright light.
Having been disappointed with the softness of this lens I checked some shots taken with it when stopped down. This one at f/10 seems much sharper than shots at f/5.6 or f/7 so perhaps it's just a case of it needing stopping down ?
