Silver Willow

The silvery reflections from the underneath of the Willow leaves contrasts nicely against the shaded spot into which the willow droops. The tonal range is quite limited, with the bokeh highlights of the background providing some interest amongst the shadows.
A wide aperture (f2.0 I think) keeps the focal plane on the leaves and a little vignetting draws the eye to the centre. The SMC Pentax 28mm f2 on the K1 MkII is a true pleasure to use for this type of image.
Quite an ordinary shot at normal size, but when viewed large it starts to reveal its detail. If you want to see it even bigger then this Flickr link will help:
