Silver Seventy Seven

A little bit of playing around with my Pentax A 50mm f1.2 and a 12mm Auto extension tube - I've always had trouble focusing the 50mm f1.2 lenses accurately so live view really helps. I chose a Mono conversion to enhance the beauty of the Silver finish (and show the dust on the lens cap )

I've read discussions around the A 50mm f1.2 being to the standard of the Star series lenses, certainly in build and IQ it is up there, and the change to 9 aperture blades (from 8 in the previous version) plus the later SMC coatings take it a notch up from the K version (IMO)
