Spied her

This Garden spider was building a web just under the ceiling in our kitchen. After several attempts I managed to get a shoot with the camera about a foot above my head!
It wouldn't have been possible without catch in focus, even though most of the efforts caught the ceiling instead (only about an inch beyond her)
