2012 Onion Crop

Shot for the recent "Still Life" competition and put up here to get it into my portfolio.
I find "arty" type competition subjects very hard, probably because I have methodical technical background. I don't think this one has really succeeded although it was a lot of fun to do.
Pentax K-5 with the DA35 Macro Limited
1/6 sec, F11, ISO200 & -0.7ev.
Plus a little bit of tinkering in PSE10.
