Scallop Shell

A scallop shell about one inch across photographed with extension tubes and Pentax F 55mm f1.7. I traced around the shell and cut a black cardboard mask to cut out any stray light and placed mask and shell directly on to 360 flash. Even at 1/32 power and f22 I had to use a linen tea towel doubled up over the flash to cut down the output (it is the kitchen table after all)
