Old king coal

A famously decommissioned industrial relic on the southern bank of the Thames, taken with K-5 and DA 35mm f2.4 during an evening stroll twixt office and London Victoria. Coal-fired Battersea Power Station produced electricity for 50-odd years, appeared on one Pink Floyd album cover, stood around doing not very much for three decades and is now being converted into apartments that will cost a touch more than a three-bedroom semi in Stoke.
