The natural world

I've been incredibly privileged to work on six continents (I haven't yet done Antarctica, but don't imagine motorsport events will be organised there any time soon) and have seen/experienced many different things, from abject poverty in India to riots in the Middle East via an earthquake in Japan. Wherever I've been, though, diverse natural landscapes have been a constant delight - ditto the wildlife within. I'm always drawn towards birds and beasts, but haven't been anywhere remotely exotic during the competition's course so will have to settle for slightly falsified nature. This great grey owl was taken on December 19 in its less than native Hampshire (Marwell Wildlife, to be precise). Tools: K-3 and DA 300mm.
