Maulbronn

In Maulbronn very close to where I live you can visit a perfectly preserved abbey site from the medieval. Some of buildings are almost 900 years old. For me this is very typical for Germany - these old places (if not distroyed by various wars) still nicely preserved and kept in good condition.
I have been to many modern cities all over the world but places like Maulbronn are far more attractive to me
