Tick-bite fever

A Red Billed Hornbill, a common bird of the Kruger National park. This one came to sit on the partially open window of my car, and I was able to take this macro shot, stretching as far as I could against the door. These birds have become so accustomed to humans, they even raid your plate if you do not watch them carefully. I did not notice the tick until someone pointed it out to me.
