Isolation by masses

Can you be more isolated then by living in such a place?? The balconies are constructed in a way that you cannot even see your neighbor.
This is a house in Marseille – taken from a very similar house on the other side of a 4 lane street. People from both houses might not even see each other in their whole life. The backside of urban “lifestyle”.
