Ceanothus II

by PeterKR

After the poor focus on my previous attempts to capture this blossom I tried again. Yesterday, as the sun was getting low I used flash with much better results. Today, for this shot I used my monopod to keep the camera steady, Av to select f16 and ISO 800 to keep the shutter speed as fast as possible. Looking at the results of several shots I feel that the bright sun may be causing a bit of 'flare' but I liked this one.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
