Bridge in the mist!

Our meadow and the bridge that crosses the millstream... the bridge led directly into the forge that stood on that side... so, because of the difference in height, we had to get a ramp constructed to accomodate the 2 metre difference!
That, or wade through the millstream............... we got the ramp built for free, when they converted the old milking parlour into a house they dumped the stone on the ramp side of the bridge.... and soil from digging the septic tanks was then added....
