Bokeh and missed focus

Another with the Takumar 58mm f2.4 (M42) at maximum aperture - this time KI missed the focus (the wind was blowing the branches back and forth) and I was about to bin the file when I noticed the rendering of the background and the out of focus highlights.

I nearly accepted a good offer on this lens a couple of weeks ago (£250) but decided against it as I knew I hadn't used it enough to enjoy it properly. I made a good decision for once
