Acorns

It seems to be a very good year for acorns (or a very bad year if, like me, you have to clear them up ).
In an unusually hot and sunny October afternoon I collected together some recently fallen acorns, not without some risk as they are still falling , and treated them as pebbles for this wallpaper type shot.
Pentax K-5 with the Samsung equivalent of the DFA 100mm Macro.
1/125sec, F8 & ISO 200 in natural sunlight.
