Enigmatic (previously titled 'Ethereal')

by graysummers

Love Imogen Cunningham and love the softness of her portraits. However, when this photo was taken an age ago I had the sticky mirror problem and the focus suffered. I like the problem for this effect though. I wanted a heavy grain and stark black and white contrast David Bailey look from his Lady is a Tramp/Portraits of Catherine Bailey book. This has an ethereal feel.

Thanks all. Great feedback and observations.

Sometimes we obsess too much about sharpness. This is very impressive.
Best wishes,
