Holly leaves
by PeterKR
The sun was breaking through the dense branches of a tall tree and beneath the canopy a holly bush was reaching up for light. A small amount of sunlight shone through some of the holly leaves catching my eye.
K50 + 18-135 at full zoom (and a crop), hand held and autofocus.
I chose f/8 to increase DoF and make focusing easier but being a shady location the K50 upped the ISO to 3200 so as not to extend the exposure time !

Many thanks for all your kind comments.
This was my favourite shot of the day and I was glad my 4yr old grandson wandered into the undergrowth so I could see this when I went to retrieve him !
I think they call it serendipity !
Thanks again
Peter
