Ghostly

Unusual interior shot for me - Blickling Hall (Norfolk) during a tour to look at the conservation work being done - so no one around.

A "good" photo catches the eye and contains an element of mystery, paradox, incongruity, expectation, be suggestive of something, of anything, but what is immediately evident. This is a good photo. The lighting, the situation… Personally, I would have straightened out the perspective. But this is debatable.

Yes, perhaps, however as someone who lives in an old house where nothing is square or straight - who's to say which is the correct perspective - wwwwhooooooooo (or suitable ghostly sound effect to taste).
If you don't ask you'll never know

Good point. Surrounded by cranes which are very upright and well balanced, one tends to forget…
