Dawn light before sunrise adds colour to the skies above the inverted cloud base - created by the night’s cool katabatic breezes descending from the Dartmoor and South Hams hill ranges.
Beara Common is the hill in the middle distance on the southern edge of the moor, flanked by Brent Moor, Ugborough Moor, Harford Moor and Dean Moor which form the catchment area of the River Avon (also known as The Aune)
