Peyto Lake

by Jumbo48

Peyto Lake (pee-toe) This shot was taken from Bow Summit, the lake is fed by the runoff from Peyto Glacier, in the summer glacial rock flour flows into the lake and the suspended rock particles give the lake its turquoise colour. It was named after Ebenezer William Peyto who was a guide and trapper in the Banff area. From certain angles it looks like a Grizzly Bear. Z1P + 28-105 @ 28 Fuji Sensia 100 ASA.
