A Classical View

New Contributor. Thought I would share some images I submitted for TG089 Digital Photography with the OU/RPS. All taken with a Pentax K20.
1/5 – a local National Trust property. I was attracted to the niched arches creating a shadowed background highlighting the sculptures; I cropped the image slightly to emphasize the symmetry and used the grass strip to ‘ground’ the plinth.

Nice composition. So why is she covered up when he isn't?! And I wonder what they both find so fascinating in the urn.
