Tree Pipit - Bench Tor

It was a delight to hear the joyous song of this Tree Pipit (Anthus Trivialis) as it performed its acrobatics of catching flying insects and 'parachuting' with stiff wings back to this tree many times at Bench Tor, Dartmoor National Park.

Beautifully isolated and the composition, placing it fully into its environment, is lovely.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
