Cwmystradllyn reservoir with the abandoned slate workings on the far side. Seems appropriate that however long you wait the sun never shines on the grey mountain side !

This is one of those landscape scenes that almost need blowing up to fill a wall before the atmosphere can be fully appreciated ?
It is a very quiet place, at the very end of a very narrow road. As a retired engineer I find it quite awesome looking over at the deserted slate workings.
