looks like the contrasting elements may be worth a revisit with black and white in mind. Good subjects

The uphill grade and low angle of view really emphasizes the leaning of the boat. I get an interpreted sense of it's toppling over at any moment. Even comes across that the man is there as a counterweight/counterbalance.
