Must be love...

What an amazing shot on so many levels. Their faces look almost humanoid...character on right in green seems to be looking towards the camera whilst impregnating his mate who seems to be grimacing throughout the ordeal. Very Disneyesque...like a product of Pixar CGI. Their abdomens meanwhile are forming a heart shape...surreal really to have so much in one image.

Hi,

It was just two dragonflies mating when I took it. Surreal when put up on my big monitor. This was the best of about six given the very shallow depth of field using my 300 star F4 and tele adapter which just happened to be on camera. They were so oblivious i could have changed lenses without any reaction i think!
