TEST PIC K20/TAMRON 28-300
by cedricd
After loads of grief with this lens on my K10 I tried adjustments with AF point on my K20. How useful this facility is. Just the sort of subject a self respecting grandad has for his twin grandsons.

Are you sure this is for your grandsons? Its a lovely model of Tornado. Paul is right about levelling it very slightly.
BTW how do you check the AF point on your camera?

Did I say Grandsons? I was only trying out my Tamron 28-300 after setting the AF point on my K20. Dinner had been called so getting it level as well as focus, lighing etc. went a bit off. I set the loco at 45 degrees and dialled in the focus adjustment. Will do a forum post and pix in a while. This lens backfocussed on my K10 (only a global adjustment for all lenses). This is a Bachmann model Tornado. I am quite pleased with the 28-300 on the K20 after adjusting. Have set the K10 to + 200 for all other lenses.

Hi Paul, the K10 AF adjustment can be altered via debug mode. (lots of forum posts). K20 has this facility via the custom menu and it`s possible to enter values for 20 lenses.

The Dutch Alps!
Pity it's not quite horizontal - the backdrop and the track being the giveaways. Excellent otherwise.
