I am not so sure. It 'adds up' to a very interesting picture. Parent is keeping a very watchful eye over proceedings. Not very ofay with the Gull species. Looking forward next year to visiting Farne Island, mostly for the Puffins. How far away were from the chicks? Parent seems unconcerned. 115mm would indicate a zoom lens of some kind.

No, it's not a great photo but it was great to watch the terns. The chicks were practically at my feet but the adults do attack if you get too close. I was probably about a foot away and standing up. My advice is a hat is a must and waterproof jackets! The puffins are further away but still fairly close, the shags were very close too but I guess this changes every year up to a point. You'll also see guillimots and kittiwakes and quite a few other species as well.
