Speeding Past Handfast Point

by McGregNi

Taken from a ferry travelling from Swanage to Poole, here I was shooting the 'Old Harry' Rocks at Handfast Point, at the tip of Studland Bay, Dorset. There were plenty of boats passing by to add to the variety and maritime flavour of it all.

K7 and Tamron AF70-300 Di LD , F8 ISO 800.

Unusual angle, which you can only see from the sea. A great shot of the rock formations. Perhaps picky, I would like to see a bit more space below the speedboat but no doubt the ferry was bobbing up & down so a straight horizon in itself is a good achievement here !

Thanks also Nigel and Malc ..... I would have like some more space too Nigel, but the boat came up too quick! Had to straighten a little also ....
