'Teensy Weensy Spider'
by PeterKR
The sun came out this morning therefore so did the camera !
I wanted to capture our Magnolia bush in full bloom but it was this tiny creature that captured my attention !
There was a bit of a breeze so I put the K50 on TAv at 1/500th sec to overcome the breeze while hand holding the camera and f/5.6 to get some bokeh (and plenty of light !).
Fortunately the sun was quite bright so I ended up at 100 ISO
The lens was my DA18-135 at full zoom - I just can't force myself to take it off the K50 !

Little perishers are getting everywhere at present. I like your strategy for capturing it and getting down to 100 ISO is a bonus.

Many thanks to you both for your nice comments.
The only thing I forgot to mention, David, was that I changed the AF to single spot and made sure the little red square was directly on the little brown spider !
Thanks again
Peter

Tiny spider, big image. All the above plus shows pro control to change AF- I often get too excited to foresee the sometimes different result - happy you didn't - special image -t

Many thanks, Tony.
(Good job I remembered this time then !)

(BTW...Peter, I still marvel at the quality photos you get from your copy of this lens as you know mine rendered such poor IQ) 😕
