Magnificent
I was at Banham's Zoo yesterday. Truly a dark and murky day making for some challenging captures... I was disproportionately delighted to come across the fantastic Bald Eagle here with no bars, glass or wire holding him back... I was travelling light so this was with the Sigma 70-300mm. ISO 800 and hand-held.

Thanks everyone - A really beautiful bird. In fact I can recommend Banham's Zoo if anyone is ever in the area (Norwich). Quite a decent place. I took a load of shots (of varying quality) so no doubt one or two more will appear here...
Cheers

Love this bird although it has been captive for a long time it has never lost its penetrating stare. Have virtually the same shot as this. Will post shortly.
